The SPORTMAX Roadsport 2 is the evolution of the extremely popular SPORTMAX Roadsport.

This time around, the tire introduces some great highlights such as a new compound that allows it to last longer, while retaining the linear handling performance that was popular in the SPORTMAX Roadsport for better ground contact.

Typically, the tire generates less heat as the thickness decreases due to mounting and the grip also decreases.

However, in the Roadsport 2, there is a 2-ply tread structure with 2 types of compounds that are layered on top, the new Performance Compound Layers (PCL) technology.

This technology improves grip as the rubber heats up, and the high grip and long life suppress performance deterioration over time.

• The rubber of the tire carcass adopts a new polymer strongly bonded with silica, which provides excellent grip with the road surface and also improved abrasion resistance.
• The thick layer of the compound adopts fine carbon particles for racing, and the rubber improves grip by generating heat.
• It provides excellent grip performance from the beginning to the end of its use.
• The linear handling that was so popular in the previous Roadsport is kept intact and allows for even more spectacular characteristics through a new profile design.
