• Completely redesigned shell and visor
  The RAM-X features the all-new VAS-Z variable axis visor opening system with lowered lower hinges. This design creates a smoother shell at the temples, improving the helmet's ability to slide more easily upon contact with the ground or obstacles, thus increasing the level of protection. This lowered hinge position is a result of the dual-pivot mechanism, which creates a "variable axis system" (VAS) that allows the visor position to be adjusted in a way that a single-pivot system cannot.
• Aeration
  It uses the same diffusers as Arai's flagship Corsair-X, with a redesigned fixed stabilizing wing to improve helmet stability and further reduce rider fatigue. Probably the most ventilated open-face helmet on the market today, and ideal for riders who travel at lower speeds or in extremely cold weather: you'll surely agree.
• Lighter
  A new resin (Z resin), developed and produced in-house, combines several resins with different characteristics to create a stronger bond between the materials and the numerous layers of the hull. The process uses less resin, improves the hull's strength, and reduces weight.
• System Pro Shade
  Across its entire surface (top, bottom, or middle), the new visor adapts to a wide range of lighting conditions without compromising the helmet's impact energy absorption. The unique design of the Pro Shade system allows air to circulate even during high-speed riding.
• Glasses compatible
  The detachable ear pads allow glasses arms to slide easily into the helmet. These ear pads are easily removed from the helmet and feature removable covers for easy access and washing.
