Tech 10 Steeler – Ultimate Lightness and Performance

The Tech 10 Steeler Limited Edition redefines the standards of motocross boots thanks to its innovative, lightweight and ultra-durable composite materials.

With a low-profile design and self-aligning cold-forged aluminum buckles, this boot offers quick donning and a reduced weight of over 400 grams while maintaining exceptional protection against impacts and abrasion.

FEATURES :

• Material composites have been created to be lighter and more durable to withstand the rigors of off-road riding. The new cold-forged aluminum buckles are not only easier to use, more durable, and offer a self-aligning closure that ensures a positive hold on the upper surfaces of the boot, this development has resulted in an impressive weight reduction of over 400 grams (almost 1 lb) for the MX25 Tech 10 boots.
  
• The new streamlined boot design also reduces the profile and physical size of the Tech 10. By incorporating newer, lighter, and more durable composite materials and using a more integrated approach to component construction, we were able to dynamically improve the boot chassis as well as utilize more advanced bonding processes.
  
• The Tech 10's chassis combines advanced lightweight microfiber with an impact and abrasion resistant TPU shell.
  
• In combination with the front and rear dual blade connectors, the Frontal Flex Frame gives the Tech 10 a complete, seamless flex control system from the foot shell to the shin guard plate, delivering high-performance dual motion control, preventing over-compression and hyper-extension, with:
  
• Engineered frontal flex control is provided by a dual-density TPU connector system, uniting the lower buckle plate with the upper blade connector, buckle, and shin guard. Designed to "float" freely between the lower and upper construction of the boot, the Frontal Flex Frame acts as a shock absorber by distributing energy across the boot frame while controlling forward and rearward flex, gradually releasing force that cushions and absorbs impact energies.
  
• Asymmetrical double pivot arms on the boot frame.
  
• A unique feature of the Tech 10 is the ankle control system developed in the outer shell construction, allowing natural ankle movement, vertical compression control and improved impact protection.
• Integrated into the Tech 10's unique, lightweight, one-piece co-injected chassis, the patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP) is an innovative safety feature that includes a fully integrated, retractable heel area with expanded polyurethane foam to absorb high impact energies during a crash. The DCHP features a directional impact protection system that significantly reduces the effect of excessive, potentially injury-causing energy transferred to the ankle and lower leg. The DHCP has been used by Alpinestars athletes in the demanding environments of professional Supercross and Motocross.
  
• The inner biomechanical ankle brace features lighter, anatomically redesigned medial and lateral torsion arms that are compact and provide increased range of motion and control. In conjunction with the outer boot chassis, the ankle brace provides vertical and lateral protection against compression and rotation of the ankle and leg, as well as progressive damping of torsional forces during a crash, while still allowing natural range of motion.
  
• A dual pivot system allows the Tech 10 to maintain its integrity while flexing, eliminating the need for alternative torsion bars for different ankle widths and, importantly, providing the essential progressive resistance to rotational and vertical forces that could otherwise be damaging to the ankles, knees, thighs and pelvis if not stopped in a controlled manner.
  
• Dual-density TPU rear blade system designed to prevent hyperextension while providing improved flexion control and impact resistance.
