Tech-Air® 3 Leather Airbag Jacket: Safety and elegance on the road

Discover the Tech-Air® 3 Leather Jacket, a fully autonomous active airbag that protects you without any external sensors. Thanks to its six integrated sensors and real-time deployment, your torso, back, shoulders, and chest are protected even when stopped. Comfortable and stylish, it combines supple cowhide leather, perforated panels for ventilation, and a compact design that easily fits in a bag or under the seat.

FEATURES :

• The Tech-Air® 3 is a fully self-contained active airbag system and requires no external connections or sensors on the motorcycle to operate.
• It incorporates six sensors (three accelerometers, one of which is triaxial, and three gyroscopes, one of which is triaxial) to offer the best collision detection performance in different driving situations, including when stationary.
• Automatic activation via the magnetic zipper.
• Its compact design allows it to be easily stored in a backpack, under the seat, in a top case or a pannier when not in use.
• The outer frame is made of cowhide leather, softened for comfort, with elastic ribbed leather side panels for added comfort and volume when inflated.
• The upper chest and shoulders feature perforated panels for ventilation.
• Design with a central zipper and two internal magnetic buttons on each side: one to hold the chest pad in place while driving and one to fold it up and conceal it when not in use.
• Two zipped hand pockets, two zipped chest pockets, one of which has a glasses port on the right chest, and one hidden inside pocket.
• Tab at the waist for attaching gloves or other accessories.
• A discreet but visible LED screen on the chest with a reflective support to optimize visibility, indicating the operational status of the airbag.
• The LED screen also incorporates a haptic alert that vibrates to confirm that the system is armed and warns the rider when the battery is low.
• Incorporates Alpinestars' compact Pro 2nd generation electronic control unit (ECU), located in the ECU pocket at the top of the back of the Tech-Air® 3 inner jacket.
• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) connectivity via the Tech-Air® app to monitor system status, battery status and obtain detailed trip tracking via MyRide.
• The system firmware can be updated via the Tech-Air® application, allowing you to check the installed version and perform updates.
• Integrated certified lithium-ion battery, 40-hour battery life and approximately 4-hour charging time.
• The gas cartridge that inflates the airbag is located in the housing on the left side of the pilot's lower back.
• The ECU is protected to ensure all-weather performance and certified to operate between -20°C and +40°C.
• The cartridge housing, electronic wiring and airbag are easily removable.
• Gas cartridges can be replaced by selected Alpinestars dealers or certified Tech-Air service centers.
• The jacket should be cleaned with a leather care product if necessary.
