Tech-Air® 3 V2 Canvas Airbag Jacket

Lightweight, compact, and easy to pack, it offers complete torso protection, even when stationary, while remaining discreet under your clothing.

Its LED screen and Bluetooth connectivity provide real-time information on system and battery status for maximum safety.

FEATURES :

• The Tech-Air® 3 v2 is a fully self-contained active airbag system that requires no external connection or sensor on the motorcycle to operate.
  It incorporates six sensors (three accelerometers [including one triaxial] and three gyroscopes [including one triaxial]) to provide optimal fall monitoring in various driving situations, including when stopped.

• The airbag system activates automatically via the magnetic zipper.
  Its compact design allows it to be easily stored in a backpack, pannier, top case or side case when not in use.

• The outer frame is made of stretch nylon canvas, with a ribbed bomber collar and elastic side panels for comfort and expansion.
  Designed with a central closure and two internal magnetic buttons on each side: one to hold the chest pad in place while driving, and the other to fold it up and hide it when not in use.

• It features two zipped hand pockets, two chest pockets (one with a channel for sunglasses), and a concealed inner pocket.
  A loop at the waist allows for attaching gloves or other items.

• A discreet but visible LED screen at the front of the chest, with a reflective coating on the inside to optimize visibility, indicates the operating status of the airbag.
  The LED screen also incorporates haptic feedback: it vibrates to confirm that the system is armed and alerts when the battery is low.

• The system integrates Alpinestars’ compact Pro 2nd generation electronic control unit (ECU), located in the ECU pocket of the Tech-Air® 3 vest.
  Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) connectivity via the Tech-Air® app allows you to monitor system status, battery and view journeys with MyRide.
  The system software is scalable and can be updated via the Tech-Air® application.

• The Tech-Air® 3 v2 uses a certified lithium-ion battery, offering up to 40 hours of battery life and a charging time of approximately 4 hours.
  The gas inflator for deploying the airbag is located on the left side of the lower back.
  The ECU's sealing ensures all-weather operation, certified for temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.

• The inflator housing, electronic wiring and airbag are easily removable.
  Gas cartridges can be replaced by certain Alpinestars dealers and certified Tech-Air service centers.
  The canvas vest is washable after the electronic components have been removed.
