Main features

Multiple driving modes

• The Tech-Air® MX comes with MX Mode by default, allowing use on off-road tracks, specifically for motocross.
  
• The system also offers two additional modes (“MY RIDE 1” and “MY RIDE 2”), customizable via the Tech-Air® application from among the available modes: MX Race, Enduro and Rally.
  
• Once configured, the modes can be easily changed via the display button or directly in the application.

MX Algorithm / MX Race

• The accident detection algorithm was developed from thousands of hours of riding and crash data, and tested in extreme conditions (MXGP, AMA MX, Supercross).
  
• It accurately assesses when to deploy the airbag before an impact or dangerous situation.

Active airbag

• When an accident is detected, an airbag inflates in an average of 40 milliseconds (depending on size), offering superior protection.

System versatility

• The Tech-Air® MX can be worn over or under suitable gear, with enough space for inflation.

Single-cartridge deployment

• A single gas generator allows for deployment.
  
• The cartridge must be replaced after activation. A quick-release lid system allows for rapid replacement (subject to local regulations).

Battery and battery life

• Integrated lithium-ion battery, 30-hour battery life, recharges in approximately 4 hours.
  
• A 1-hour charge ≈ 8 hours of use.

Simplified activation/deactivation

• To activate the system: close the left loop of the breastplate.
  
• Removing the loop automatically disables the system.

Driving modes
MX Mode

• For off-road outdoor trails (dirt, sand, mud, rocks), with:
  – jumps, ruts, tight turns, climbs/descents, fast sections.
  Also suitable for Supercross (stadium tracks with artificial obstacles).

MX Race Mode

• For use in competition.
• More selective activation: limits unnecessary triggering (such as during a simple loss of balance).
• Designed to preserve protection when it is not possible to reload the cartridge during the race.
