Tech-Air® 7X Airbag System: A versatile, compact, and race-ready airbag

Designed for demanding motorcyclists, the Tech-Air® 7X Airbag System combines versatility and advanced technology. It can be worn under a Tech-Air® suit or used as a standalone airbag thanks to its included converter. Its compact electronics incorporate 12 sensors and an intelligent algorithm capable of detecting a collision in milliseconds.

The system features dual charging for two deployments, an LED display indicating system status, and a battery that provides up to 20 hours of active driving. Reliable in all weather conditions and compliant with EN and FIM standards, it's your ideal companion everywhere, from the road to the racetrack.

• It incorporates a dual-charge capability, meaning that with two full gas inflators, the system provides two separate airbag deployments.
  
• A single gas inflator will deploy to inflate the entire airbag system in a collision scenario
  
• A quick-release mechanism allows the user to rapidly replace the gas inflator; this feature is only available in countries where local regulations permit the replacement of gas inflators by private individuals.
  
• It uses a built-in, certified lithium-ion battery with a battery life of approximately 20 hours of active driving time when fully charged, and a charging time of approximately 4 hours; charging the battery for about 1 hour will provide 7 to 8 hours of driving time.
  
• To turn on the system, simply close the front flap, taking care to properly tighten the hook and loop fasteners.
  
• The base layer can be hand-washed separately, after removing the non-washable parts which include the safety cushion, gas inflators and all electronic components, including the LED display and wiring
  
• An integrated LED screen is strategically positioned on the front flap and indicates the system's operational status, the status
  battery and number of inflations available
  
• Can be connected to an externally wired LED display, sold as an accessory, for use with the dedicated Alpinestars racing suit.

• The ECU is housed in a robust casing and protected by a seal inside the vest to ensure all-weather performance; the vest and components are certified to operate between -10 and 50 °C.

• Once deployed, the cushion deflates automatically via a deflation valve.
  
• The gas inflator housing, electronic wiring, and safety cushion are easily removable.
  
• Bluetooth® connectivity to a Tech-Air app provides users with the airbag system's operational status, battery status, and MyRide trip information, easily accessible on a mobile device, subject to network coverage.
  
• Pilots can easily update the system firmware when new collision detection algorithms are released via the Tech-Air application.
  
• Compliant with all FIM Grand Prix standard requirements for airbag systems, making it suitable for road racing. Incorporates the latest evolution of Alpinestars Tech-Air technology, including a more compact and comprehensive active electronic system equipped with 12 sensors.
  
• There are four tri-axial sensors: a tri-axial accelerometer and a tri-axial gyroscope located on the main electronic control unit, and two additional tri-axial accelerometers located on the shoulders, specially developed for track and driving performance. Combined with the Tech-Air algorithm, they allow for precise monitoring of when to deploy the airbag in the event of a collision.
  
• When a collision is detected, a safety airbag is deployed, providing unparalleled protection to the driver with a maximum inflation time of 44 ms, depending on the airbag size.
  
• Fully certified for up to four airbag deployments before replacement is required, provided the airbag has not been
  damaged during one of the first three deployments
