Tech-Air® 3 V2 Leather Airbag Jacket

The Tech-Air® 3 V2 leather airbag jacket combines safety and comfort. Its autonomous active airbag protects the torso and shoulders with rapid and intelligent deployment. Equipped with the second-generation ECU Pro and Bluetooth connectivity, it allows you to monitor the system and battery status via the Tech-Air® app. Its practical pockets, waist buckle, and supple leather make it a versatile, high-performance, and easy-care jacket.

FEATURES :

• The Tech-Air® 3 v2 is a fully self-contained active airbag system and requires no external connection or sensor on the motorcycle to operate.
  The Tech-Air® 3 v2 incorporates six sensors (three accelerometers [including one triaxial] and three gyroscopes [including one triaxial]) to provide optimal fall monitoring in various driving situations, even when stationary.
• The system activates automatically via the magnetic zipper.
  Its compact design allows it to be easily stored in a backpack, pannier, top case or side case when not in use.
• The outer frame is made of cowhide leather with a softening treatment for comfort, and ribbed, elasticated leather side panels for added comfort and expansion volume.
  The upper chest and shoulders feature perforated panels to improve ventilation.
• The Tech-Air® 3 v2 is designed with a central closure and two internal magnetic buttons on each side: one to keep the chest cushion in place while driving, and the other to fold it up and hide it when not in use.
• It has two zipped hand pockets, two zipped chest pockets (one of which has a channel for sunglasses on the right pocket) and a concealed inner pocket.
  A loop at the waist allows for attaching gloves or other items.
• A discreet but visible LED screen at the front of the chest, with a reflective coating on the inside to optimize visibility, indicates the operating status of the airbag.
  The LED screen also incorporates haptic feedback: it vibrates to confirm that the system is armed and alerts when the battery is low.
• The Tech-Air® 3 v2 incorporates Alpinestars' compact Pro 2nd generation electronic control unit (ECU), located in the ECU pocket at the upper rear of the vest.
  Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) connectivity via the Tech-Air® app allows pilots to monitor system status, battery life and view rides via MyRide.
• The system software is scalable and can be updated via the Tech-Air® application, where users can check the installed version and perform the latest updates.
• The Tech-Air® 3 v2 uses an integrated and certified lithium-ion battery, offering up to 40 hours of battery life and a recharge time of approximately 4 hours.
  The gas inflator for airbag deployment is located on the left side of the pilot's lower back.
• The ECU's sealing ensures operation in all weather conditions and is certified for temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.
  The inflator housing, electronic wiring and airbag are easily removable.
  Gas cartridges can be replaced by certain Alpinestars dealers and certified Tech-Air service centers.
• The vest should be cleaned with a leather care product if necessary.
