We are a company firmly established in Quebec, and are looking for a Human Resources and Administration Coordinator to replace one year of maternity leave.

The person will be under the supervision of the General Director and is recognized for his extraordinary interpersonal skills, while remaining operational and close to the field.

Your challenges:

Human ressources
  • Participate in the strategic planning process and the development of HR best practices;
  • Plan labor needs and recruit quality personnel;
  • Very attractive employee discount (yeah!);
  • Assist the management committee to maintain a work climate that allows employees and managers to support the achievement of organizational objectives;
  • Work in a generalist manner with regard to organizational development and compensation, etc.;
  • Assist managers in the performance evaluation and resource development process;
  • Advise and support managers for rigorous and uniform application of the rules, policies and procedures in force;
  • Carry out or participate in the completion of various projects relating to human resources management;
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze them and make appropriate recommendations;
  • Apply the system's more advanced disciplinary actions, up to and including dismissal if necessary;
  • Lead the OHS committee and manage and monitor CNESST files;
  • Update the company organization chart;
  • Supply and update HR software;

Administrative

  • Provide the necessary support to general management in the execution of tasks and monitoring of various files;
  • Support the financial controller with various accounting tasks;
  • Carry out research for various files (e.g. grants, standards, laws, etc.);
  • Help write, revise and correct various documents (letters, memos, etc.);

What it takes:

  • Ideally, we are looking for someone with an AEC in Human Resources;
  • We need you to be skilled with numbers and computer tools (Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.);
  • Since you will play a key role in charge of human resources, your outstanding communication skills and good listening skills will be your main tools;
  • Want to work in a good mood, have a lot of interpersonal skills and empathy to promote transparent discussions while maintaining a sense of discretion;
  • Your sense of organization and your management of priorities will be important here;
  • Master French and English (an asset) both orally and in writing;
  • Diploma: AEC, DEC, Certificate or Baccalaureate in human resources management.

Weekday hours, salary will be discussed based on experience.

Position to replace one-year maternity leave with possibility of extension.
