FEATURES :

• An elevated area with padding has been specifically designed to effectively reduce the forces transmitted to the collarbone. The patented visor release system ensures the visor detaches with the correct predetermined force, regardless of the angle of impact.

• Sizes M, L, XL and 2XL have seen their lower volume expanded by about 3 %, making it easier to put on and take off the helmet. This increase in volume also improves impact management, reducing transmitted forces by 44 % compared to the standard-speed threshold.

• In line with the new ECE 22.06 standard, the SM5 shows a 44 % improvement in regular-speed impact absorption performance compared to the previous 33 % figure. It also offers 32 % better low-speed and 31 % better high-speed impact absorption.

• A multi-density inner liner ensures the correct density in each strategic area for optimized impact absorption.

• The redesigned chin bar has a sculpted base to avoid the collarbone, while the new, softer EPS liner slightly extends beyond the shell and is covered by a more flexible rubber compound, reducing the risk of collarbone injury.

• Maximized ventilation and optimal heat dissipation thanks to multiple air inlets and exhaust ports.

• The weight of the SM5 helmet is 1,350 grams for size M in the ECE version, and 1,420 grams for the ECE DOT version with shield.

• The visor is designed to channel air into the vents, improving airflow inside the helmet.

• The SM5 is available in two versions : ECE R 22.06 and ECE R 22.06/DOT.
