FEATURES :

Aerodynamic shell design

• Designed and perfected in Shoei's state-of-the-art wind tunnel facilities
• 6.1 % reduction in drag and 1.6 % reduction in lift compared to the X-14
• More than 150 iterations of the profile shape improve stability at high speeds and reduce negative forces.
• The rear stabilizer system, the concave shell surface and the pronounced ridges on the upper left and right sides of the helmet improve aerodynamic performance.

Multi-Ply Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus (AIM+) shell

• Six-layer fiberglass matrix combined with lightweight, high-performance organic fibers for optimal impact absorption, strength and flexibility.

Multi-density, multi-piece EPS liner

• Optimized impact absorption thanks to different foam densities used in key areas
• The precise positioning of the multi-density EPS liner allows for a more compact and lightweight design.
• Strategically placed tunnels allow fresh air to flow freely through the helmet
• A small channel located at the front of the chin bar is specially designed to guide and accommodate hydration systems, including the optional Shoei hydration tube sold separately.

Ventilation system

• Seven (7) closable air intakes and six (6) air vents
• The air intakes are strategically designed and positioned to maximize airflow and negative-pressure suction toward the back of the helmet.
• The EPS liner ventilation tunnels have been enlarged from 6 mm to 10 mm in depth compared to the previous model for superior ventilation.
• Innovative cooling system at the cheek pads with a greater number of holes that direct fresh air toward the rider's cheeks.

Field of view

• The revised eye-opening trajectory compared to the previous model increases the upper field of view by 5 mm.
• The DKS-304 PINLOCK® EVO lens system is 10 % larger than its predecessor and improves the side field of view thanks to pins repositioned outside the eye opening.

CWR-F2R shield and base plate system

• Distortion-free shield thanks to Shoei's innovative 3D injection molding process
• Protects against 99 % of the sun's harmful UV rays
• The CWR-F2R's "flat" 2D outer surface, combined with 3D technology inside, offers a dynamic style and optimized visibility.
• Vortex generators located on the sides of the shield improve aerodynamics and reduce wind noise.
• The central locking mechanism helps distribute the forces exerted on the shield evenly between the two spring-loaded base plates.
• Exclusive two-stage shield locking system: central locking mechanism and race shield locking.
• The trigger locking mechanism helps prevent the shield from detaching during an impact or fall.

3D Max-Dry II custom interior system

• The 3D Max-Dry II custom interior system is fully removable, washable, adjustable and replaceable.
• Max-Dry material absorbs and wicks away sweat and moisture twice as fast as traditional nylon interiors.
• The 3D center pad components can be adjusted independently and replaced with options of different thicknesses to customize the fit.
• Each pocket-shaped pad includes distinct, removable layers that can be removed to further optimize the fit.
• The patented angle adjustment mechanism allows the helmet's position to be changed by up to 4 degrees to increase the upper field of view in an extreme racing position.
• The surface area of the cheek pads has been increased by 16.5 % compared to the X-14 for a more secure and comfortable fit.

Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.)

• The emergency quick release system allows emergency medical personnel to easily remove the cheek pads from an injured rider's helmet.
