Universal Joint by Kimpex
Ensure robust transmission with Kimpex Universal Joint! Cold-forged from SCM-415 steel and case-hardened to HRC58-61, these U-joints offer exceptional strength.
Pre-greased with high-temperature class 3 lithium grease, they feature four-lip seals that prevent contaminant infiltration and grease loss.
A protective cap is included for applications with limited height. Honda models offer an improved cross diameter (17 mm to 19 mm), stainless steel flanges, and neoprene caps for increased durability. A precision part for off-road motorcyclists who want a reliable and durable transmission.
FEATURES
- U-joints are cold-forged from SCM-415 steel, with precision-ground trunnions case-hardened to HRC58-61.
- U-joints are pre-greased with high-temperature class 3 lithium complex grease.
- Bearing cups feature a four-lip seal to prevent contaminant infiltration and grease leakage.
- Grease fittings and grease grooves, centrally located in the bearing cup, distribute grease evenly.
- The assembly includes a protective cap to eliminate grease at the fittings in limited-height applications.
- Honda U-joints have their cross diameters modified from 17 mm to 19 mm.
- Honda U-joints feature stainless steel flanges and high-quality neoprene rubber caps for long service life and abrasion resistance.
Notes for utility models:
- A) The mid-drive shaft of six-wheel vehicles uses the same U-joints as the rear drive shaft (points 4 and 5)
- B) The mid-axle uses the same U-joints as the rear axle (points 6 and 7)
- C) Utility vehicles with mid-U-joints on the front drive shaft use the same U-joints as the front axle (point 2)
